Fresh off the cultural dominance of Superman and the launch of the new DCU, Lanterns arrived on HBO with serious expectations and Sunday Matinée delivered pieces designed to meet them. For the pre-premiere, we created a cinematic, atmosphere-first social moment that draws viewers into John Stewart's origin through tension, intrigue, and the haunting question every Green Lantern is asked before the ring chooses them, "Are you afraid?" For in-season, we developed a suite of concepts engineered to create FOMO and keep fans locked in week over week.
